Requirements
- Role Overview:
As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security strategies across our cloud infrastructure. You’ll work closely with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Application teams to protect our systems and data, ensure compliance with industry standards, and continuously improve our security posture. - Key Responsibilities:
- Security Architecture: Develop and implement secure cloud architectures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Identity & Access Management (IAM): Configure and maintain IAM policies, enforcing least-privilege principles and secure authentication methods.
- Vulnerability Assessment & Response: Perform regular security scans, identify vulnerabilities, and lead remediation efforts.
- Monitoring & Alerting: Utilize SIEM and other security tools to detect and respond to incidents promptly, minimizing impact.
- Automation & Integration: Integrate security testing into CI/CD pipelines, automate compliance checks, and collaborate on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide security guidance to engineering teams, drive adherence to secure coding practices, and conduct training sessions as needed.
- Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in IAM, network security, SIEM solutions, and container security tools. Familiarity with IaC frameworks (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
- Certifications: Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or cloud vendor-specific security certifications preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration abilities.
