Requirements
- Role Overview:
As a Cloud Architect, you will design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Development, DevOps, and Security—to establish architectural standards, optimize resource usage, and drive the continuous improvement of our cloud infrastructure. Your expertise will guide the organization toward innovative, cost-effective, and reliable cloud strategies. - Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Strategy & Design: Develop and maintain cloud architecture blueprints, ensuring solutions are scalable, resilient, and aligned with business goals.
- Infrastructure Optimization: Evaluate cloud infrastructure to identify opportunities for cost reduction, performance enhancements, and operational efficiencies.
- Integration & Automation: Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation tools, promoting seamless deployments.
- Security & Compliance: Work with Security teams to implement best practices, access controls, and compliance frameworks, safeguarding cloud environments and data.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Advise engineering, product, and operations teams on architectural decisions, technology selection, and architectural patterns.
- Innovation & Best Practices: Stay current on emerging cloud technologies, recommend improvements, and mentor team members on cloud best practices.
- Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, including hands-on work with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and relevant programming/scripting languages.
- Certifications: Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect) are highly valued.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities, with a proven track record of influencing architectural decisions in a collaborative environment.
